Catherine May, Class XVIII

January 03, 2008 Catherine May, Class XVIII … Soon after graduating from TL, I joined the Board of Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development. Janet Garcia, a TL classmate, was, at the time, Executive Director of Tumbleweed. Tumbleweed serves abused, abandoned, troubled, and neglected youth and has a drop in center (for homeless youth) in the downtown Tempe area.
I have continued to serve on the Board and have been elected to serve a two year term (2008-09) as Board President.
